Behold the aftermath of 'Kaiju Royale'. I decided that ZillMaster91's prize would have a little more involving nature to it then just drawing my take on his kaiju. I decided to go with this large setting like piece to not only practice destruction scenes but also bring some closure to the concept a bit. Here we have Arlo, having arrived too late to stop the madness that occured in sydney. I based the lay out of this drawing from the Godzilla Unleashed Sydney level without the snow and ice. Thats the Opera House burning off in the distance in the crook of Arlo's tail there. The two dead monsters up front are Ramz0 (who got blown in half taking down his equally distructively harmonic nemesis) and Blak enveloped over Soirun ( the venom from Soirun caused havoc in Blak's system just as the acidic nature of Blak's body dissolved Soriun save for his head). So what is Arlo holding? A piece of a friend slain in the chaos? A dying six year old? A random symbolic piece of scenery? I'll let you be the judge. ZillaMaster91, this one's for you

He just looks so sad-filled with sorrow because of all the chaos and death he finds himself surrounded with.
Amazing pic, as usual. Awesome details on both Arlo himself-with the textures of his skin, hair, and spikes-and on the broken scenery, tiny cars, and the remains of the brawling Kaiju.

I feel this is one of my better pieces. Pencil to me is my best medium. I can do so much more with it than I can color as of yet. Though if this were ever colored it would be kickass. I'm glad you noticed Arlo's expression, I had to reposition his head several times before I got what I wanted. Its a little larger than how ZillaMaster91 presented him but his initial art was in forshortened perspective so I'd assume these are normal proportions for him.
