Alright boys and girls, today I have a special present for you. This wasn't originally part of my art trades but I felt that it would a nice way to say thanks. See, while I was cruising DA for a bit, I stumbled across the work of this wonderful individual . The dude makes some seriously awesome drawings of kaiju fights and scenery and he takes requests for a lot of what he's done on the subject. I'm sure a few of you have already seen or even had your characters used in his work by request and I was more than a little flattered when I saw that a monster I had designed 'Gareku' had been placed in a fight scene with Rogzor, which would be this guy [link]

So I got to talking with him and he asked me if I would like to color said linework. I agreed and some crazy odd number of weeks later here we are. So basically the pic translates into something like this:

-Gareku is the armored dragon kaiju in the foreground, he's a monster invented by ~Gareku and designed by your's truly with maybe some adjustments thrown in like those warble whiskers.

-Rogzor is the big golden armored mutha F'n badass that looks like he's about to tear Gareku a new asshole. He belongs to a faction of kaiju and monsters called 'The Planter Eaters' and him and five other kaiju along with an army of minions exist to do just that, eat planets and everything on them.

-I did the colors, thus it has a new life brought into it along with a sense of 'monsterpocalyptic' atmosphere.

Next project I'll probably have up is either Geckoro vs Volcanus (drawn now lol), or KaijuLord's Godzilla (contemplating whether to draw him again with a full background or use existing drawing and add background). We'll see.
