Krystalak Study

So here is the prelimenary planning I did for the future SD Krystalak. The Neo verison by Matt Frank, Millenium verison by Toho/Atari, a Hybrid of both by me and an SD verison based on the Hybrid. Krystalak is a pretty visicous little bastard. He's even thornier than Angurius if thats even possible. I think the key parts of making Krystalak the best he can be is to keep what makes him unique (the thin, lanky build and the crystal beard.) and enhance his natural weaponry and armor as well as his facial features. The flat face makes his first incarnation look too much like it has a silly mask on. I don't mind the colors really, not every monster has to be friggen black to be impressive. I mean hell, alot of villans these days wear white just to screw with our heads. The devil was never more dangerous than when he wore the face god. Anyway, jagged crystal armor, more detail to the face and a strong but lanky build help convey the speed and ferocity this guy brings to the table as well as enhancing his manical villain persona. The SD verison will illustrate this.
