Last weekend I was quite busy with helping out at a national junior tournament and some emergancy grocery shopping. There wasn't a lot of time between that and the absolutely hellish heat to do much serious work on Oakenrack. In the meanwhile I decided to venture more into a realm I've so far only scratched the surface of: giant mecha and military vehicles. Two of each considering the size of the page I was working on.
So the first one top left is a 'heavy assualt' mecha type. Combines some features from all over but Mechagodzilla inspired the head while MOEGUERA inspired the tread feet. Might be an expy of SMGII for all I know. It's not exactly fast but makes up for it with thick armor, powerful arms for clobbering, and packed with destructive ranged weaponry from head to mid section. I've asked if a tail is necessary and I've been told it has more of an impact without it. So it's basically a 'dragon man' mecha. Probably of the type to have a small specialized team piloting it. It's a first concept for a mecha I'll later call 'DracoARM05'.
Top right is basically a 'blow torch tank'. Take the kind of explosive power you get from a space shuttle launch, funnel it into a cannon, shoot at anything remotely flammable. I was really felling my inadequacy here so yes, the cannon muzzle looks like a flashlight.
Lower left we have something a little more interesting, a 'tase launcher'. Angles and fires loops of electrical discharge that can stun or outright paralyze a kaiju shocked by the weapon.
Finally the lower/middle right we have a 'cyborg mecha' or a kaiju in the same vein as the evas from NGE. It has restraining bolts all all over it's body and energy channels along the head plate and eye socket. Underneath all that armor and synth muscle is a tortured creature of flesh and bone, vaguely human. It doesn't manifest force fields but it's agility and adaptability to various combat situations make it a superb combatant for dealing with more martial kaiju and the like. In contrast to something like Unit01, it actually looks female. I'm leaving it up in the air if it actual is or has a gender to begin with. The name for this concept is 'DevaFRE276'. It would be piloted much as expected, by a single pilot plugged into a synaptic sync to increase reaction and control. And yes, that is a 'drill axe' on the end of it's tail there.

Very neat concepts you have going here, Ren. I rather like the lanky, very flexible looking DEVA, and the tank treds on the giant hulking Draco make more sense, at least to me, than trying to make that thing walk. The tazer tank is a bit of genius-get a few of those around a Kaiju's fighting feet, and let it rip into it while the Mechs get a few free shots.
