- Blizzard knew something was off as he felt the other gods as well as himself drawn to shattered gorge that had risen from the sea. An incredible power had appeared. It was alive and full of so much rage and anger that even Diablo's worst episodes were like a child's tantrum in comparison. As he came upon the beast, a tremor of deep, instinctive terror came over him. This creature was as one with the world as it was apart from it. The great yeti would have pitied it were it not for the insane energy seeping from it's every pore. A feeling in the pit of his gut told him to run but he quelled it. The reason for this titan's rage had long since been exstinguished. Blizzard turned to his fellow gods and nodded warily as he perpared to fight what could be the last battle any of them would ever face.

-Diablo visibly seethed as Urth shuddered from its recent continental shift. Something powerful had been awakened and it wasn't another of his ancient brethren. He didn't know what made him angrier: the fact that his path to utter domination of Urth was made even more difficult, or that he had not perdicted something like this would occur. He tried to tell himself that it was of no consequence, that he would pervail in the end. That was until he actually saw IT. Diablo could barely contain his frustration. Not only was it bigger than he was, it was literally overflowing with raw power. A power he thought died with the human's petty attempt as masters of this world. Nuclear power. Diablo snarled and churned the napalm in his stomach to a fever pitch. Whatever hell this demon had crawled from, Diablo was intent on sending back. In flames.

-Armadon didn't know what was worse, the atomic abomination standing in front of him or the pain it was causing to Gaia and by association him. In some ways he understood the creature. A living time capsule that had weathered the weight of untold centuries from the time before man to the oddly similar present. Its rage and vendication were valid, but it was not its time anymore. He had waited eons for the chance to bring balance to Urth again. He was not about to let the sins of mankind's past burn it down. Armadon steeled himself and prayed to Gaia for the endurance he would need to halt this behemoth's rampage.

-Vertigo had been thunderstruck by the maelstorm of emotion, instinct, and power that had erupted from the ocean south of her lair. She cackled light heartedly to herself. Another pawn to play with perhaps? All the others were so BORING...she needed a fresh muse to revitalize her agenda. So she set off toward the risen sea gorge. Hoping to head off her 'competition' in pursuit of the prize. What she found was not at all what she expected. A leviathon, larger than most of the shattered buildings within The Ruins, awaited her there. She was perturbed at the complex yet oddly simple nature of the beast. It was ancient and had a connection to the life force of this planet that was digustingly familiar. At the same time it was so full of unspeakable rage that comparing it to Diablo was like comparing the sun to a volcano. It eclipsed her some time ally by miles. What scared her though was its will. The sheer strength and indominable nature of it caused her to mentally cower. She feared it, she hated it, it needed to DIE. She couldn't assualt its mind without suffering horrific images of carnage, fire, death, and the iron resolve of a hunter that had slain things far more significant than her. Hissing spitefully at the juggernaut before her, the serpentine sorceress perpared for war. Both of the mind and body.

-Talon had caught a powerful scent on the wind and noticed that it was blowing in from south. Talon could always tell how dangerous something was by its scent. From the crisp chill of that old yeti to the smoldering sulfur like waft of that demonic carnosaur...demon...thing. But this was something else, it was STRONG. Not Chaos strong (thankfully) but enveloping like a like a tidal wave. Talon's hackles started to rise as his adreneline started pumping. Whatever it was it was threat, a big threat. If it got to the The Strip it would have no trouble eating or wiping out his whole pack if it wanted to. Growling orders to the elder pack mates to seek refuge, Talon made his way south the sea risen gorge. His suspicions were comfirmed when he sniffed the other gods heading there as well. He had no idea how right he was about the source being strong until he stood before it.

-Slashfang didn't normally concern himself with the affairs of the other gods as long as they stayed out his territory. He had a different feeling about this one though, the prospect of a good hunt was in the air. Even that tricky little raptor was heading there, as fast as he his legs could carry him as usual. If something had irked the excitable feather head into leaving his pack so hastily then this hunt was going to be too good to pass up. It turned out his instincts were right upon arrival. Just by looking at the size of the thing Slashfang knew that this was going to be the most challenging hunt of his life. Now he just needed a good vantage point to pounce from...

-Chaos was simply minding his own business when the earth shook so hard that it knocked him on his ass just as he was about to sneeze. Eyeing the record breaking length of snot stuck to his forehead, Chaos shrugged and slurped the greasy rope of mucus down the hatch and added the finishing touch with a classic belch. Chaos was contemplating the advantages of hurling it back up and doing it again when a second tremor caused several buildings to collapse completely. Chaos began to slowly hyperventilate and then began hooting and hollering as he began smashing things left and right. No one but him could do that to his city! Only he got to smash HIS buildings! Stopping for a second, he thought he heard a roar like sheet metal in a thunder storm. Chaos decided that the roaring creature must be the one that smashed his buildings. Chaos noisily crashed through the jungle infested skyscrapers and ran toward ocean. When he finally saw what had caused the roar he promptly shat himself on the spot. Of course for Chaos, suddenly shitting yourself meant you were going to have a REALLY good day. Today was no exception.

-Sauron has always prided himself on being the biggest, strongest (as far as he was concerned), god on Urth. Diablo could rant all he wanted about world domination but Sauron had the bigger territory. In fact he had the biggest territory out of all the god's (Armadon's was all underground so it wasn't really worth a shit any way). If he could, he'd happily stay in his domain. It was really too bad that he had to root out 'their' tasty followers since he kept running out of his. Wasn't his fault that there were so many weak ones that needed culling...and appeasing his unsaitable appetite. That disturbance off the south coast though, that unnerved his unflappable ego just a bit. Something BIG was out there causing a large ruckus. So large in fact that all the other gods were racing toward it. As far Sauron was concerned, anything south of his territory in the ocean was his. Veritigo knew better than to screw with him, bite marks are a bitch to get out the hide you know. As for Chaos, he could eat himself because Sauron wasn't sure if he wanted to. So there was no way in hell he was going to let the other gods steal a potential kill from him. After wading onto the shores of the sea risen gorge, Sauron made his way to the center and was dumb founded by what he saw. For once in his life, Sauron knew fear. This thing was bigger, stronger, and more pissed off than Diablo after Sauron insinuated that he had 'compensation' issues. The fear was soon replaced by giddiness. This thing was big enough to eat him but that just made this battle all the more important. If Sauron could down this bastard he'd be able to feed for months. This was the single biggest piece of meat Sauron had ever seen. The thought of one upping the other gods (again) AND filling his belly made him start to drool uncontrolably. Roaring out his challenge, Sauron perpared to dig in.

-Necrosan floated high above the epic pissing match happening below. Those primitive meat sacks actually thought they could kill this creature? Ridiculess. The being before them was a biological weapon of mass destruction. In its heyday it had slain and defeated dozens of monstrosities just like it. Necrosan could feel its power, its nigh indestructable life force. Oh how succulent it would be to taste it. To do so now however was suicide. Necrosan was no fool, he would allow the other 'gods' to have wear the titan down and then he would reap his reward for paitence. He hadn't roused the creature but he'd certianly pissed it off with his mere presence. He seemed to have that effect of living things. No matter, if he couldn't take its life force directly he would simply have to the use the lives of the other gods as stepping stones to that goal...

-For years he had slept and for years it had been peacefully silent. The world he had been apart of was gone yet again and it held promises of a past he thought had been lost to him. Of course there was ALWAYS something. That parasitic bone creature had instantly set off the alarms in his head and it was nearly vaporized for being careless. Now he had to deal with even more odd creatures. They were no where near as big or powerful as his previous adversaries years ago had been. There was something about each of them though that made him nostalgic and angry at the same time. The proud and noble ape creature, the raging demonic carnosaur, the stubborn and centered herbivore, the disturbingly insane snake creature, the stealthy predatory cat, the devoted yet reckless raptor, and that...digusting...monkey...thing behind him. All of them brought images of past opponents, treasured allies and viscious enemies. Memories wouldn't stay his hand though. Finally a life like one he used to have was within his grasp; and he would use all of his will, power and strength to obtain it. After all, what right did these tiny relics have to deny Godzilla, King of the Monsters?
