SD Mecha King Ghidorah

It's been awhile but here's the next installment of the SD Godzilla series. We're almost out of the Heisei series and heading into the Millenium. Now, there are some people who are of the 'King-Ghidorah-is-so-awesome-there-is-no-way-IN-HELL, that-he'd-become-a-cyborg-and-would-either-retreat-or-die-if-faced-with-something-that-could-do-that-to-him' persausion. To those people I ask to you suspend your disbelief for a bit. I'll agree that King Ghidorah was one of Godzilla's most prominent foes and practically indestructable at times. But what really makes King Ghidorah an interesting villan- to me anyway- is that no matter how many times he got his ass kicked, he kept coming back to make everyone's life hell. I don't really care for that whole time travel schtick, that was just lame. Point is, Mecha King Ghidorah had some interesting potential and I decided to play on that a bit.

I took the changes I made in my version of King Ghidorah and meshed them together with most of the cyborg componets from the original concept. It's not as much a redesign as it is a fresh look. I got rid of the ankle warmers, I think everyone can agree with me on how useless those things were (he wasn't even shot in the legs for god's sake). I also figured that the organic parts he had left would be battle scared and maimed. The right head has large claw marks on the neck, a broken horn and scars aross the face. The left head (the crazy one lol) got half his face burned off from a point blank nuclear blast. Needless to say both are pissed. I also considered that since the dominant middle head is gone, the other two would fall into a more feral state, thus the drool. Oh, and to those that care, he's got hair now (Showa forever ). The SD elements aren't as strong in this one. Its more like 2/3rd's SD this time around. That left head always has to rebel... For clarity's sake, that isn't a time portal behind him, thats just your typical worm-hole. No back to the future jokes here people. Inspeaking of which...

The humor section is another Mony Python gem, this time from the famous Holy Grail movie. Remember the Black Knight? Well Mecha King Ghidorah is Toho's Black Knight. It doesn't matter how many parts he loses, he's still a Ghidorah damnit and he's gonna kick your ass. Even if he falls to pieces doing it.
