Description
Mystical and Fey even beyond his peers, The Unicorn was the undisputed 'King' of the forest he called home. So much so that even when the Companions arrived, he viewed their intrustion with fear and suspicion. Intent on dealing with regions troubles on his own, he proved an uncanny and neigh untouchable foe until the keen eye and tactics of The Hawk humbled him. Once convinced of the Companions good will, The Unicorn became an earnest ally, bringing health and purity in equal measure to all those who earned his grace and many still who did not. Empathic to a fault, The Unicorn could not help but wish as little harm as possible and many feuds and alliances were mended by The Unicorn's selfless diplomacy and Mercy. Even against the most vile and brutal of foes The Unicorn sought to end the conflict as quickly and painlessly as possible. Repaying the debt he owed The Lion a thousand fold over the reign of The Kingdom. Had The Unicorn fought a moment longer, he may have ended the threat of The Demon of Blood once and for all. Alas, there is no restraint or doubt in the mind of a being that is conflict embodied. So The Unicorn passed from history, his descendents watching the passage of time for as long as they were able before they too passed from this world. Taking refuge in the guarded forests and glades of Oakenrack and Rainsha. A great shame, for The Unicorn's Mercy is sorely missed...and unwittingly guarded by his slayer.
